Leader. Sharp wit. Humour. Daniel for his high emotions. What character is most like Spock: Daniel. Very clever. Logical. Jack for his ability to do something 'evil/mean' if it's for the better good. Why: This couple is VERY much like Jim and Spock. Jack was like Jim in the military and both have military background. Both Daniel and Spock works as scientist partners to these military minded men. Both Daniel and Spock are a bit naïve, good-hearted people who are struggling to find their place in the world.  Couple: Danny and Rafe From: Pearl Habour Movie Why: They have a relationship very like Jim and Spock's. Rafe have always protected and taken care of Danny; he’s the leader and takes responsibilities for things. He’s good with the ladies and confident. Danny is more nervous and has had a hard childhood. Danny can seem to hold more deep emotions within himself and in the end they share a truly heartbreaking scene. What character is most like Jim: Rafe. Confident, leader. What character is most like Spock: Danny. Insecure, hard childhood...loyal friend. Webmistress' Notes: The chemistry between these two was what made the movie great. The sub-plot with the female nurse made me feel no love between any of them, especially the way she was with first one and then the other.  Couple: Boromir and Aragorn From: The Lord Of The Rings: Fellowship Of The Ring Movie What character is most like Jim: Aragorn for his leader skills and Boromir for his high emotions (actually the comparison doesn't fit very well on this couple) What character is most like Spock: Boromir for his loyal bonds to his homeland and familiy. Aragorn for his longer life span and calm. Why: They start out as more enemies than friends but end up sharing a very touching scene and a kiss. Lot of angst in this couple.  Couple: Jim and Blair From: The Sentinel TV show Why: They end up having a relationship like Jim and Spock though with a lot more touch. However, they would and do everything for each other and always stay together. They're soulmates and have said so themselves; Jim even says he can't live without Blair and proves it by bringing him back from the dead. What character is most like Jim: Jim (in some areas; his tragic background and military training) Blair for his emotionalism. What character is most like Spock: Blair (for his love for science, self sacrificing nature and loyality. Otherwise then this character is too happy and bouncy for the comparison to fit.) Webmistress' Notes: This is one of my most loved slash couples.  Couple: Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi From: The first Star Wars movie: The Phantom Menace Why: They share a strong bond and their last scene together are so touching. When I saw it the first time I was sure Ben would kiss Gon...he didn't though...damn. What character is most like Jim: Qui-Gon Jinn. Leader and emotional. What character is most like Spock: Ben Obi-Wan Kenobi. Calm and loyal. Webmistress' Notes: This couple was the only good thing about this movie. Another great Star Wars couple would be Han/Luke who personality wise fits perfectly....Leia gets in the way here though...  Couple: Duncan/Connor, Richie/Methos, Richie/Duncan From: Highlander:TS Why: I don't really like Duncan; he's too controlled. However Richie and Duncan share a bond much like Jim and Spock's. Also Duncan/Connor has a strong bond going. There's no evidence at all for Richie/Methos but I like them together; maybe because I love Methos so much *G*. What character is most like Jim: Richie and Methos. High emotions. What character is most like Spock: Duncan. Calm and logical. Webmistress' Notes: Richie and Connor are in the River Denial! Always.  Couple: Lex/Clark From: Smallville Why: They're doomed from the start which makes this relationship so much more bittersweet. They share a strong bond of love right now with Lex trying to protect Clack while still seeking his approval. What character is most like Jim: Lex. Leader. What character is most like Spock: Clark. Innocent and loyal friend. Webmistress' Notes: This couple is the only reason to watch this show; its 'freak of the week' rutine is pretty boring.  Couple: Emma/Sharimar, Jesse/Brennon From: Mutant X Why: Emma and Sharimar share a relationship like Jim and Spock. The boys have less evidence to them but they fit together. What character is most like Jim: Sharimar and Brennon. Strong emotions. What character is most like Spock: Emma and Jesse. Logical and tecnical people. Webmistress' Notes: The many couple hints and handsome men are some of the only reasons to watch this show which still hasn't found it place yet.  Couple: Xena/Gabby From: Xena: Warrior Princess Why: They share a relationship like Jim and Spock. However they kiss and say 'I love you' all the time. If this is friendship then I've never had a friendship like this. They're soulmates, belong together and love each other deeply; that much is obvious. What character is most like Jim: Xena. High emotions and a strong leader. What character is most like Spock: Gabby. Spiritual, cautious. Loyal.  Couple: Hercules/Iolaus From: Hercules: The Legendary Journey Why: They share a strong bond of love though they only share hugs and touches...maybe a kiss for fun I can't recall right now (if not then this image is from a blooper; the best kind). However Hercules finds it very hard to live without Iolaus and loses his faith after his death. What character is most like Jim: Hercules. Leader. What character is most like Spock: Iolaus. Best friend and confidente.  Couple: Richard Sharpe/Patrick Harper From: Sharpe films/books Why: They share a strong bond of love and trust. Pat quickly finds great respect for Sharpe and will follow him without question and defend him to the death; Sharpe will lead and guide though in his command the only advise he seeks is Pat's and the only one who he let know about his fears and doubts is Pat. What character is most like Jim: Sharpe. The witful leader. What character is most like Spock: Patrick. The loyal second in command.  Couple: Scott Summers/Logan From: X-men film (not the comics that much) Why: At first they don't like each other at all but the sparks fly between them in their fights. This couple is mostly like Jim and Spock in fanfic where Logan takes a very protective, almost animal-like in the 'protect the mate' role and Scott lands in the rational and logical role; the brains behind it all.. Other none slash couples: Couple: Iolaus and Nebula From: Hercules: The Legandary Journeys Why: At first they don't like each other at all but the sparks fly between them in their fights. Nebula quickly assumes a role of control and command and seduces Iolaus, giving him cute nicknames. Iolaus shows Nebula that love is also about opening up and letting control slip once in a while. What character is most like Jim: Nebula for her command streanghs. What character is most like Spock: Iolaus for his ability to turn tables on Nebula.  Couple: Lyla and Deric From: Hercules: The Legandary Journeys Why: This is a Romeo/Juliet kind of relationship. Their love is forbidden yet strong. Deric always protects and looks out for his wife who (like Spock) isn't toally defenceless herself. What character is most like Jim: Deric. Quick temper and deep emotions. What character is most like Spock: Lyla. Choosing a soulmate who isn't a common/respected choice.  Couple: Marguite and Percy From: The Scarlet Pimpernal Why: At first a classic relationship where Percy always protects and looks out for his wife and he remains so but Marguite isn't without her wits. What character is most like Jim: Percy for his playfulness and high emotions. What character is most like Spock: Marguite for her loyalty. Percy for his tendency to keep secrets as well as his sharp wit.  Couple: Kaley and Garrett From: Quest For Camelot Why: This is a very facinating relationship. Garrett is blind though strong and they have a classic relationship at first until it becomes clear that Garrett needs Kaley's gaurdiance What character is most like Jim: Kaley for seeking new adventures. Garrett for his inner streangh. What character is most like Spock: Garrett. Guiding and being guided.  Couple: Pocahontas and John Smith From: Pocahontas Why: They have a classic relationship where John wants to protect Pocahontas but he soon finds he needs her help. She is his spirit guide who rids him of his hate and misunderstandings. He's down to earth and practical; she's spiritual and free. What character is most like Jim: John for his command streanghs and eternal serach. Pocahontas for her playful side and deep emotions. What character is most like Spock: Pocahontas for her openness and mystical side. John for his practicallity.  Couple: Aida and Radames From: Aida Why: She guides him and helps him get rid of his hate and misunderstandings. She's his spirit guide and soulmate and their love show that love knows no limits. Couple: Angel and Cordelia From: Angel TV series Why: This takes a classic approach with Angel being extremely protective of Cordy who through the show proves that she has her own powers and strengths What character is most like Jim: Cordy for her emotions. Couple: Charles Gunn and Winnifred Burkle From: Angel TV series Why: This takes a classic approach with Gunn being extremely protective of Fred who seeks this protection and who's very good with books What character is most like Jim: Gunn. Couple: Methos and Alexa Bond From: Highlander TV series Why: This takes a classic approach with Methos being extremely protective of Alexa - this couple is tragically sweet What character is most like Jim: Methos because of his fighting skills and directness in touch.
